About On the Line

The Suicide Call Back Service is managed by On the Line, Australia's leading professional telephone and online counselling and training provider.

Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week and staffed by a team of professional counsellors, social workers and psychologists, On the Line supports over 135,000 callers through crisis each year. 

On the Line is an expert provider in counselling for men, suicide prevention and mental health, managing several specialist services including MensLine Australia, the Suicide Call Back Service and SuicideLine (Victoria). On the Line also runs the LIFE (Living Is For Everyone) Communications project, part of the the National Suicide Prevention Initiative.
